Social Media Associate - Asian Markets

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Asian Markets team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to key Asian markets, aligning with the company's global vision and objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in Asian markets.
• Create, manage, and monitor all key Asian social media accounts, such as WeChat, Xiao Hong Shu, Douyin/TikTok, Lemon8.
• Collaborate with KOLs and Influencers to produce quality content and enhance customer engagement.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all social media channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, events, and design, to ensure cohesive and brand-consistent outputs.
• Monitor social media metrics and KPIs, providing insights and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and ROI.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media strategy and management, with a focus on Asian markets.
• Proven track record of developing and managing social media campaigns.
• Proficient in social media analytics tools and platforms.
• Good at photography and video editing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in multiple languages and fluency in Mandarin.
• Understanding of cultural nuances and consumer behavior in different Asian countries.

Nice to Have

• Working experience in Asia (i.e., China, Korea).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Business, or a related field.
• MBA (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
