About the Role

The Social Media Associate will help execute the content strategy of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism's social media channels. The role involves creating, posting, and promoting content across various platforms to reach a diverse audience, particularly targeting Gen Z. The organization focuses on spreading positive messaging and partnerships to combat hate and support the Jewish community, leveraging monitoring technology and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the creation and posting of daily, dynamic, high-quality social content to core platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Partner with design and content team members to create best in class content by audience and channel
Act as a subject matter expert on the social landscape by actively monitoring and reporting on news, trends, information, and creators relevant to the FCAS mission
Actively contribute to community management of FCAS channels
Own measurement and reporting across channels, including preparing and presenting reports for FCAS team and executive leadership
Collaborate with FCAS team members to produce engaging content for digital channels
Handle special projects and assignments as dictated by the business
Maintain, create, and control all personally identifiable information or other information protected by confidentiality or privacy standards, including compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, or related discipline
1-3 plus years' experience in brand marketing, social or digital media or equivalent
Technical expertise operating and managing major social media accounts including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Strong experience operating on TikTok and familiarity with trending or emerging social platforms preferred
Strong understanding of social media landscape among millennial and Gen Z users and ability to adapt storytelling accordingly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate content across multiple platforms and deadlines
Creative, highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and work against tight timeframes
Attention to detail and focused concentration
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and respond promptly
Ability to make timely decisions and adhere to established protocols

Nice to Have

Strong experience operating on TikTok, as well as trending or emerging social platforms

Qualifications
