About the Role

The Social Media Coordinator at Fraser is responsible for managing Fraser's day-to-day presence across various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency, accessibility, and alignment with organizational initiatives such as programs, services, client success stories, recruitment, events, development, sensory, and volunteer engagement. This role involves shaping Fraser's social media strategy, monitoring online conversations, and creating storytelling content for newsletters, blogs, web content, and email campaigns. The position is a key member of the Fraser Marketing team, helping to drive brand awareness and engagement while supporting organizational, business, and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes social media strategies that align with Fraser's business goals, target audiences, and brand tone.
  • Creates and curates engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written copy.
  • Monitors and analyzes social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and adjusts strategies accordingly.
  • Aligns Fraser brand with new and emerging trends and channels.
  • Identifies and engages with influencers and brand advocates to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional Fraser teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated with other initiatives.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manages social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • At least 3 years' proven success as a social media specialist or similar role, developing social media marketing strategies.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social media advertising campaign management.
  • Knowledge of content writing and storytelling.
