About the Role

Our client is a KCMO craft company with 4 brands. They are looking to add an experienced Social Media Coordinator to their team. The role involves overseeing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms to enhance brand storytelling, customer engagement, and community building. The position is full-time, based in Waldo (KCMO), with a pay rate of $26 per hour, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage cohesive content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for all four brands.
Align messaging across platforms to ensure brand consistency while maintaining the unique identity of each brand.
Design and produce engaging content, including photos, short-form videos (e.g., Reels, TikToks), Stories, and posts tailored to each platform.
Capture high-quality product images for use on social media and websites.
Write compelling captions and craft hashtags that reflect brand personality and optimize reach.
Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Foster an authentic and positive online community experience by encouraging conversation and brand loyalty.

Requirements

Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses (portfolio or examples of past work required).
Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Photography and content creation skills, including basic photo and video editing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
Creative thinker with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proven experience in social media marketing or related field.
Strong knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics.
Prior photography experience.
Familiarity with content creation tools and applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship management skills with an ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Work on-site 100% in Waldo (KCMO).
