About the Role

Revelry Event Designers is seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator who views social media as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. The role involves creating visual representations across various social media platforms, collaborating with multiple teams, and understanding branding and marketing to produce engaging content that connects with audiences. The position emphasizes expertise in current trends, design process skills, and the ability to convert ideas into media that reflect the company's style and layout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create email campaigns and write blogs, then optimize them for SEO and social media purposes.
  • Help draft press releases, media pitches, and other external communications.
  • Seek out PR opportunities via social media to help secure larger articles and publications.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Assist in creating and editing written, video, and photo content.
  • Implement social media content plans to increase followers on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with Owner and Production Manager to create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Develop an understanding of Revelry's collections and inventory and keep information up to date.
  • Assist in developing and managing social media marketing and influencer marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools.
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML.
  • Excellent social listening skills.
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Experience using analytics software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with MAC products and applications.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools.
  • Willingness to travel 25% and ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications
