About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and analytics to optimize our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling posts and managing social media accounts.
  • Conduct SEO and keyword research to improve content visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer inquiries through social listening techniques.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Manage relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand reach.
  • Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with video editing software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of public relations principles and practices is advantageous.
  • Experience in photography is beneficial for creating original visual content.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from various sources for strategic decision-making.
  • A passion for digital marketing trends and best practices.

Benefits & Perks

  • Part-time position paying $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
