About the Role

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role involves creating high-quality content, optimizing posts for SEO, and employing digital marketing techniques to attract and retain followers across various platforms. This is a fully remote role, working 15-20 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create, edit, and publish engaging content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and reach of posts.
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and improve engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and goals.
Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster relationships.
Manage paid social advertising including targeting, budgeting, and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent communication and writing skills for effective content creation.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance and insights.
