Social Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish engaging content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more
• Develop and manage a monthly content calendar that aligns with dealership promotions and events
• Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
• Work with sales and service departments to highlight vehicles, offers, and customer testimonials
• Capture and edit photo/video content of inventory, customer deliveries, and team highlights
• Track performance metrics and use insights to improve engagement and reach
• Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new strategies
• Support dealership events, community involvement, and in-store promotions

Requirements

• Experience managing social media for a business or brand (automotive experience a plus)
• Strong writing, photography, and basic video editing skills
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; marketing or communication degree is a plus
• Social media marketing: 1 year (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Ability to commute to Terre Haute, IN 47802 (Required)
• Ability to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice to Have

• Automotive experience
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Marketing or communication degree is a plus
