Job Description

About the Role

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and executing all social media activity for the company's portfolio of branded hotels, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt. This role ensures each hotel maintains a consistent, engaging, and brand-compliant presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The Social Media Manager will create content, schedule posts, engage with audiences, and collaborate with property teams to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, curate, and schedule all social media posts for each hotel's social accounts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and standards.
  • Create engaging content including copy, photography, videography, and graphics to highlight rooms, amenities, F&B outlets, meetings/events, and local experiences.
  • Build and manage monthly content calendars for all hotels.
  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and approval processes for Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt.
  • Partner with property-level teams to gather content, stories, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing and sales teams to amplify campaigns, packages, and events.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track performance of social channels, providing monthly reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Monitor key metrics including engagement, reach, follower growth, and conversions.
  • Adjust strategies based on analytics to maximize ROI.
  • Stay current on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Recommend new strategies and content types to increase engagement and reach.
  • Experiment with creative approaches, including Reels, Stories, TikTok, and influencer collaborations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in hospitality, travel, or consumer brands.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools.
  • Strong skills in content creation, photography, videography, and design (Canva or Adobe Suite preferred).
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Familiarity with branded hotel social media guidelines (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt a strong plus).
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Creative storyteller with an eye for design and brand voice.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple hotel accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong collaborator with ability to partner with property-level and corporate teams.
  • Data-driven decision maker with focus on engagement and ROI.
  • Passionate about hospitality, travel, and creating memorable digital experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management.
