About the Role

CASA Mobile (the Court Appointed Special Advocate program) is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Specialist to help move the program towards a new period of expansion and growth. The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity for creativity in recruiting new volunteers, strengthening the program's exposure within the community, and increasing the numbers of children served. CASA Mobile is a non-profit program that is part of the National CASA Association, which has over 900 programs nationwide. The program recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the child welfare system. The mission of CASA is to help each child it serves find a safe, loving, and permanent home.

Key Responsibilities

1-3 postings of original content per week across social media platforms
Provide input in helping to keep the CASA Mobile website updated
Research of other nonprofit organizations' social media campaigns
Assist with volunteer recruitment via social media
Perform some administrative duties

Requirements

Experience in marketing, public relations, or related field or prior experience in creating social media content
Strong skills in written and verbal communication
