About the Role

The Social Media Specialist will administer response and monitoring efforts across Primerica's digital touchpoints, providing first-rate customer service through accurate communications and timely follow-up. This role involves managing Primerica's corporate social media pages, online ratings and reviews, and social listening efforts. The position reports to the Senior Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager and includes collaboration on content development, participation in webinars, and representing the team at company events. Key Responsibilities

  • Daily administration of digital community management of Primerica's corporate channels including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn, following the strategy and quality assurance guidance of the Sr. Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager.
  • Managing customer feedback from online sources such as Google and other review sites, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
  • Following documented decision and issue resolution processes to address inquiries and concerns, triaging action items to operational areas as needed.
  • Consulting with the Sr. Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager to maintain and update response matrices and process documents.
  • Executing workflows to meet department service level agreements concerning response times and resolutions.
  • Contributing best practices for digital customer feedback monitoring and response processes.
  • Occasionally presenting reports on social media and digital community management metrics.
  • Collaborating on social media content writing and graphic design with the content team.
  • Assisting the Social Media Field Marketing Manager with webinars and representing the team at field-facing events, including travel approximately 4-5 times per year.
  • Leveraging AI tools and platforms for content creation, responses, analytics, and trend monitoring to optimize social media strategies.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to manage social media channels including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Attention to detail and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to adjust and pivot in evolving priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-solving mindset and creative approach to challenges.
  • Accountability for deadlines and receptive to feedback.
  • Experience with social media content creation and graphic design is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI tools relevant to social media is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within a hybrid work environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social media analytics and trend monitoring tools.
  • Experience in customer service or online reputation management.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and paid campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
