Social Media Sr. Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Implement department strategies using Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms to facilitate enrollment and increase visibility, influence, and image.
• Act as a subject matter expert for content creation, customer service, reporting & analytics, marketing strategy, graphic design, and video development.
• Develop and execute communications through traditional and electronic methods.
• Coordinate with internal teams on creative tasks from design concept through project completion.
• Plan and illustrate concepts by designing layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size, style, and aesthetics.
• Develop and oversee monthly content for the social media editorial calendar.
• Identify key performance indicators, interpret metrics, and develop future strategies and tactics.
• Develop proactive/reactive crisis communications for the population.
• Serve as liaison to client counterparts and coordinate project plans to ensure deliverables are met.
• Execute paid social media ads, review performance, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide superior customer service to consumers seeking assistance.
• Research and leverage current social media trends into ongoing communications efforts.
• Increase staff engagement via internal communications platforms.
• Lead projects and assist in training team members.
• Serve as liaison to third-party vendors.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Expertise in social media platform functionality, including engagement, analytics, scheduling, and optimization.
• Knowledge of professional social media management.
• Exceptional copywriting and creative content creation skills for varied audiences.
• Ability to communicate in a direct, concise, and compelling manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.
• Effective collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
• Experience in graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrates expertise in content creation, analytics, and marketing strategy.
