Social Media Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Craft content strategy across all social media channels and drive the creation of all social media content needs, working in close collaboration with the creative team.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to support product and collection launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives through social media.
• Partner with the Visual Creative Team to develop social-specific content, including GIFs, animation, graphic design, product photography, and video, ensuring consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging.
• Develop a plan for encouraging and utilizing user-generated content (UGC).
• Identify new content opportunities based on social media trends and current events in golf.
• Manage content calendars, develop, and publish content across all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter).
• Coordinate social content with the Marketing Manager, including imagery, tags, and captions, and make edits as needed.
• Assist in executing brand collaborations, giveaways, and social growth strategies.
• Monitor social channels regularly, respond to comments, DMs, and requests, and coordinate with Customer Care on customer service issues.
• Set social media goals, track performance, analyze KPIs, and optimize strategies based on data such as post engagement, hashtags, and timing.

Requirements

• BA, BS in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience overseeing social media strategy for brand accounts.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
• Proven track record of growing following and engagement on brand social media profiles; portfolio or links required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative eye for video and design, with experience working with designers.
• Excellent planning, organization, and workflow management skills.
• Deep understanding of social media trends and pop culture.
• Results-oriented and KPI-driven mindset.
• Basic graphic design skills (Adobe, Canva) are a plus.
• Interest in GOLF is highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• 3-4 years of social media strategy experience for brand accounts.
