About the Role

The Social/Digital Media Coordinator at Jones Advisory Group is responsible for providing overall digital marketing support for a high-touch, client-focused financial services firm in Topeka, Kansas. The role involves managing social media presence, planning digital campaigns, and creating a positive company image through community engagement and content creation. The ideal candidate will possess a nurturing personality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic, family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning all digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and advertising on these outlets
  • Maintain social media presence across all digital channels
  • Call, schedule, and follow-up with prospects for appointments from seminars and events
  • Record notes from every client conversation in the database
  • Follow-up and track client referrals from digital outlets
  • Email Chief Operations Officer a status at the end of each day
  • Coordinate and follow up with all leads that come in through social media channels
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights
  • Manage weekly email campaigns to clients and prospects
  • Manage and follow-through on new marketing ideas
  • Review marketing focus with team during staff meetings
  • Assist Advisors with tracking A+ prospects
  • Publish blogs and update all social media outlets monthly
  • Attend community events to create company image
  • Manage client touch marketing program
  • Create monthly accountability reports, illustrating digital strategies implemented
  • Measure the success of digital programs through data analysis
  • Discuss and review previous and upcoming digital marketing strategies quarterly
  • Keep company branding current and website/event calendar updated as needed

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Digital and Social Media Marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience with all Social Media Platforms and expertise in Google Analytics
  • Ability to prioritize projects and manage time being results driven
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, body language)
  • Ability to work independently with high-level productivity and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve rationally and learn new programs quickly
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word & Excel)
  • Comfortable with management of CRM platforms, Redtail Client Database a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering friendly service

  • Experience with management of CRM platforms, Redtail Client Database
  • Comfortable managing all social media platforms
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics and campaign optimization
