The role involves designing, building, and maintaining applications that support race teams and engineering groups, contributing across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web and desktop applications used for race analytics, simulation, and team operations.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including race engineers, data analysts, and vehicle dynamics experts to translate requirements into high-impact software tools.
Integrate with real-time and historical motorsports data feeds, databases, and internal APIs.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
Support application performance and reliability during live events.
Stay current with industry trends and bring forward ideas for improving our tools and development practices.

Requirements

2+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proficiency with modern programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with web frameworks (e.g., React and Angular) and/or desktop frameworks.
Experience using command-line tools for debugging and supporting cloud-hosted web applications, including SSH access, log inspection, service restarts, and container management.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Experience working with databases (SQL).

Nice to Have

Familiarity with motorsports data formats, telemetry systems, and racing environments.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team setting.
