About the Role

Develop, test, and support software solutions for web and machine vision applications with expertise in .NET and SQL environments. The role involves analyzing user requirements, designing and developing software applications, reviewing existing codebases, and collaborating within a team to meet project goals. Occasional on-site customer support may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements and technical documentation
Design, develop, and test software applications
Review and maintain existing codebases
Develop web-based applications and user interfaces
Collaborate within a team to meet project timelines and budgets
Provide occasional on-site customer support as needed

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficient with .NET, C#, VB, HTML, Java, SQL Server, Python
Experience with RestAPI/Web Services and UI design
Familiarity with WinForms
Exposure to SCADA software such as Ignition or similar platforms highly preferred
Experience with APIs and database management (SQL Server, Oracle SQL)
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Ability to interact with customers in a professional environment
Willingness to work on-site in Wixom, MI (4 days/week, 1 day remote)
Availability for a 6–9 month full-time contract (40 hours/week)

Nice to Have

Mobile development for iOS and Android
Experience with automation, PLC communication, and machine vision systems

Qualifications

AS or BS in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education
