Software Developer (Full Performance)- DevOps, Ansible, Python

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support a government customer by developing and maintaining network and enterprise computing infrastructure.
• Work on modern application technologies, including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows on-premise and via remote Cloud services.
• Participate in agile activities to support project delivery.
• Research and implement new technologies in object-oriented programming.
• Assist in security reviews of applications and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in software development or related fields.
• Experience with infrastructure as code languages such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency with Eclipse, GitHub, DevOps practices, Java, and Python.
• Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
• Experience participating in agile development activities.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with varied skill levels.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
• Experience with build automation tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Experience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP.
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Perl, Python, Shell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
