Job Description

About the Role

The SDET will work with cross-functional teams to scale testing capabilities through the implementation of automation and leveraging non-test resources (i.e., BA's, Developers, Architects, Integrators, Partners, and Support). The successful candidate will possess strong Software Development, Technical, Leadership, Communication, and Troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Execution of detailed quality assurance testing for complex software products.
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.
Collaborate with development and product teams to improve quality practices.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
Deliver quality Software Components by developing robust Regression Tests.
Minimize Regression issues through System Level (End-to-End) Tests.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering and/or Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
3+ years hands-on software and/or test development experience.
3+ years Fintech banking experience (loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, and/or interface development).
Experience with Java, AI, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful API's, and Postman.
General experience with Swagger, JMeter, GitLab, PostgreSQL, pgAdmin, Datadog, AWS, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
Excellent Debugging and Troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of software development lifecycles.
Monitoring Code Coverage.
Developing and/or testing SaaS Applications is a plus.
Knowledge of HTTP API Routing Frameworks/Webservices is a plus.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools is a plus.
Certification in software testing methodologies is a plus.

Passion for technology/strong technical analysis skills.
