Software Development Engineer- Student

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Join a team of developers committed to delivering high-quality customer solutions.
• Work closely with software engineers, Product Managers, and QA engineers to implement creative solutions for complex requirements requested by colleges and universities.
• Help drive the implementation of new features using React and/or Xpresso (XO) and support existing products.
• Contribute to debugging and resolving customer support cases to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Contribute ideas for improving the team's efficiency, job satisfaction, and code quality.
• Build and maintain robust, efficient, and maintainable code using an object-oriented framework and class modeling.
• Be passionate about customer experience and building the right product.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with object modeling, application design, OO design, and development in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, XO, etc.
• +5 years of experience with UML, application development, or SaaS technologies.
• 3+ years experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Restful APIs, and related modern front-end libraries and frameworks.
• Proficient skills with Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, Java or other integration technology.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Willingness to learn and build enterprise products in XO (experience with XO is not required).

Nice to Have

• Experience with XO (not required but preferred).
