Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products.
  • Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers.
  • Preparing forms, and reports for production releases in line with designing management documentation and maintaining compliance records.
  • Working on audit reports and submitting findings to track and report software performance and configuration standards.
  • Build Procedures & Development Support activities including merging test environments and working on pre/post release activities supporting software product development.
  • Deploying patches, upgrading environments, and creating release/change requests aligned with configuration management and release engineering tasks.
  • Participates in strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization.
  • Direct software development projects to ensure completion on time and according to quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication upward and across project teams regarding project status, variances, and technical information.
  • Organize projects through development of a project plan including communication of product goals, project strategy, roles and responsibilities, schedule, risks, contingency plans, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with deploying patches, upgrading environments, and creating release/change requests.
  • Experience with preparing forms and reports for production releases.

  • Software Configuration Management & Release Engineering skills.

Benefits & Perks

  • Target salary range of $80,000 - $128,000 based on experience and other factors.
