Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented software applications using Java and C#.
Support modernization efforts aimed at achieving greater efficiency, security, and usability.
Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology.

Requirements

Deep Software Development and Software Engineering background with a track record of successful project delivery.
Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies and effective communication skills for teamwork.
Current Top Secret security clearance prior to start and the ability to obtain SCI clearance.
At least 9+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
Experience developing software solutions supporting Military Communications Satellite systems is a plus.
Proficiency in designing and implementing software using Microservices, C#, Java, and Cloud computing.
Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
Working knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines.
Experience with Agile, automated testing, continuous integration, and regression testing.
Strong problem-solving skills applied to software engineering solutions.
Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications/Ground subsystems.

Nice to Have

Experience developing software solutions that support Military Communications Satellite systems.
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines.
Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies related to the Scaled Agile Framework.
Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and regression testing.
Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications/Ground subsystems.

Qualifications

BS degree or above in a related field
9+ years of professional experience in software engineering
