Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross functional team responsible for airborne computers that process and display mission data in the cockpit.
• Contribute to crypto products for identifying friendly aircraft.
• Support weapon control systems that enable the launch and control of precision guided weapons.
• Ensure the aircraft maintain air superiority and information dominance.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Agile experience preferred.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Strong experience with embedded C/C++.
• Strong experience with Linux.
• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with experience in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Rust, or others.
• Solid background on embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and HW/SW integration.
• Familiarity with DO-178 compliant software engineering life-cycle experience.
• Leadership experience in software management, planning, and scheduling of resources.
• Willingness to work with hardware specifications and leverage hardware interfaces for low-level software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative team orientation.

Nice to Have

• Software Development Leadership experience.
