Key Responsibilities

Implement, and maintain critical applications that are often high-volume and low latency
Understand application user stories and use cases and develop applications with quality
Implement Reliable, Observable, Secure, Scalable, Efficient, Reusable, Maintainable and Testable code adhering to the coding standards
Lead team code reviews, manage code effectively, and improve code management procedures
Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing complex issues, contribute to platform stability, and establish good engineering practices
Mentor team members, identify pros and cons of proposed solutions, and maintain a broad understanding of business impact and industry trends
Take full ownership from design to production deployment
Contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle
Innovate and build POCs with emerging technologies to aid in effective and efficient delivery
Learn, adapt and collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to create and deliver exceptional product requirements, design, and solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or STEM majors
4+ years of hands-on experience with object-oriented and software engineering using Java or JavaScript
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with various design patterns
Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications, RESTful systems etc
Deep insight of Java internals such as memory management, transaction management, Threading and Concurrency, Event Management etc
Full stack experience with proficiency in Java and Angular/react with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
Proficiency in Spring and Struts frameworks, along with the ability to develop multithreaded applications
Proficient in Debugging and Log Analysis
Experience with both RDBMS and NO-SQL Databases and scalable Data storage Patterns
Experience in implementing automated testing suites for UI, API, and Unit tests
Good understanding of secure application development and deployment
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environment
Proficient understanding of code versioning and tools such as Git
Familiarity with CICD and tools such as Jenkins
Experience with cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services
Showcase creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with emerging technologies and building POCs
Knowledge of blockchain and smart contract technology
