Key Responsibilities

Work with Lead Solutions Design Engineers to implement critical deliverables for line-of-business applications.
Work within an Agile/Scrum environment writing code against user stories for ultimate release into production; participate in various Scrum ceremonies along the way.
Ensure that the Chubb standards and engineering best practices are followed by leading by example.
Provide a crucial link between the line-of-business engineering teams and the central North America Solutions Engineering team to ensure that what's delivered is built as-designed.
Tweak designs as needed based on detailed discovery during product delivery.
Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure conformance to proposed designs and general best practices.
Help research and prototype emerging technologies that advance digital transformation.
Manage and ensure compliance with Chubb technology platforms roadmap and architectural principles.

Requirements

Experience working in an environment that involves implementing solutions for line-of-business applications.
Ability to work within an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices.
Strong communication skills to serve as a link between different engineering teams.
Experience with design and code reviews.
Interest or experience in researching and prototyping emerging technologies.
Ability to manage compliance with technology platforms and architectural principles.
