Job Description

About the Role

The Duck Creek Technical Lead molds and builds the team product envisioned by the Product Owner and other stakeholders. Work with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate the requirements. Work with Enterprise / Solution architects in designing solution. Manage/motivate/resolve issues in the team technically & professionally. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Duck Creek Platform, agile/scrum, change orientation and effective communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate requirements.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise / Solution architects in designing solutions.
  • Manage, motivate, and resolve issues within the team both technically and professionally.
  • Debug complex Duck Creek issues and provide solutions when the technical team is stuck.
  • Work in tandem with architects, functional leads, scrum master, and Product Owner to resolve conflicts.
  • Understand manuscripts, versioning, and configuration within Duck Creek.
  • Handle third-party integrations with Duck Creek such as ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B, etc.
  • Perform unit testing, document solutions, and facilitate transition of solutions.
  • Support production environment for Duck Creek applications and resolve incidents.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy Admin System on P&C / Commercial / Specialty Insurance.
  • Strong working experience on DC Example Author - Server, CBO express, and Skins.
  • Ability to debug complex Duck Creek issues and provide solutions.
  • Experience working with architects, functional leads, scrum master, and Product Owner.
  • Understanding of manuscripts, versioning, and configuration.
  • Experience with third-party integrations like ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B.
  • Strong in unit testing, solution documentation, and transition of solutions.
  • Experience working in production support for Duck Creek applications and incident resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer, Information Technology, or related engineering/computer field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • 7-9 years of experience specifically in Duck Creek Policy Admin System.

Nice to Have

  • AINS and DC Policy Admin System Certification is a plus.
