The Boeing Company is seeking Software Engineers (Associate, Mid-Level) to join the Phantom Works Weapons Software team in Saint Charles, MO. The team develops software for groundbreaking weapon systems, including hypersonic and advanced precision weapons, focusing on real-time embedded software and operational flight programming in open architectures, using agile methodology and modern development tools.

Key Responsibilities

Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development.
Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations.

Requirements

2 years of experience in C or C++, Python, c#.
2 years of experience in Linux, VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity or other RTOS.
2 years of experience in gcc and git or similar version control system.
2 years of experience in Agile software development, software architecture development, open architectures.

Nice to Have

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems and networks.
Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.
Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies.
Knowledge of software development processes in compliance with established standards.
Knowledge of general and software development and testing tools.
Knowledge of domains, characteristics, constraints and products that require software.
Knowledge of implementation, validation, and verification processes, practices, and guidelines.
