Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting software design and development activities using the best software development practices.
  • Supporting critical test preparation and events that will occur in the Rockville, MD facility.
  • Contributing to the development of capabilities for the Space Development Agency's Transport Layer, including working on a mesh network of satellites for resilient, low-latency data transport.

Requirements

  • Software development experience and proficiency in C++, Linux, and Python.
  • Familiar with network protocols, packets forwarding concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Currently holds a US government Security clearance of Secret or higher.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in requirements definitions.
  • Familiar with Interface Control Document (ICD) definitions.
  • Experience in developing software in satellite communication domain and a good understanding of the related software architecture.

  • Experience level: Experienced Professional.
