About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating in small, focused Agile teams with experienced engineers to perform full life cycle application development.
• Building open communication with your Product Owner, Quality Test Automation Engineers, fellow Software Engineers, Development DBA and Scrum Master to understand and transform business requirements into business-savvy features.
• Solving problems, debugging and optimizing code to ensure optimum performance and security.
• Teaming up with QA to review, approve and design against test cases to fulfill demanding customer expectations.
• Creating code solutions that follow architecture's prescribed standards and industry best practices.
• Creating unit tests for new and existing solutions, ensuring that unit test coverage meets expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Sound coding practices, such as unit testing, object-oriented programming, and patterns.
• 1+ year of experience as a .Net Developer.
• Handling code via source control systems (such as Git) in continuous integration environments.
• Practicing Agile software development processes (Scrum/Kanban).
• Building applications in Azure-based Cloud architectures.
• Designing solutions with modern architecture patterns including Microservices, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Asynchronous Messaging, Service Bus, Event Sourcing, APIs, Web Services.
• Using SQL including stored procedures, indexes, and functions.
• Employing secure coding practices including familiarity with OWASP top ten.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud architectures and modern architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and OWASP top ten.
• Experience with source control systems like Git.
