Key Responsibilities

Contributes independently to multiple functional and technical areas within a product
Performs unit and integration testing
Creates artifacts and documents valuable to the team
Debugs issues across the entire stack including OS, database, applications, JavaScript, and network
Shares knowledge by mentoring other team members
Writes well-designed, testable code
Develops new features and supports/bug fixes for existing and new features across a range of products
Troubleshoots issues across the entire stack including OS, database, applications, JavaScript, and network
Participates in code reviews both of their own code and as a reviewer
Provides feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement
Conducts technical research on new technology for potential product updates or redesigns
Prepares product documentation, support materials, and internal documentation
Mentors and inspires others to raise standards
Shares knowledge through internal information sessions
Follows industry trends and open-source community developments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2-3 years of professional experience with Java/.NET and common frameworks
Experience with JavaScript, React.js or similar frameworks
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with RESTful web services
Knowledge of security best practices for software and data platforms
Ability to learn other programming languages as needed
Able to diagnose issues and provide solutions across multiple technical areas
Can independently frame problems and perform relevant research
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proactive in acquiring new skills and troubleshooting tools
A team player and collaborator
Commitment to high-quality code and adherence to technical standards

Nice to Have

Experience with additional programming languages
Experience working with cloud-based platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2-3 years of professional experience with Java/.NET
Experience with JavaScript and React.js
