Key Responsibilities

Contributes independently to multiple functional and technical areas within a product
Performs unit and integration testing
Creates artifacts and documents valuable to the team
Debugs issues across the entire stack including OS, database, applications, JavaScript, and network
Mentors other team members and shares knowledge through internal sessions
Writes well-designed, testable code
Develops new features and supports/bug fixes for existing and new features across a range of products
Participates in code reviews, both of their own code and as a reviewer
Provides feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement
Conducts technical research on new technologies for potential product enhancements or redesigns
Prepares product documentation, support materials, and internal documentation
Follows industry trends and the open-source community

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2-3 years of professional experience with Java/.NET and common frameworks
Experience with JavaScript, React.js or similar frameworks
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with RESTful web services
Knowledge of security best practices for software and data platforms
Ability and interest in learning other programming languages as needed
Able to diagnose issues and provide solutions across multiple technical areas
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, flexible work environment

Nice to Have

Experience with additional programming languages
Experience with security practices for software development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2-3 years of professional experience with Java/.NET
Experience with JavaScript and React.js
Experience working in an Agile environment

Benefits & Perks

Salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year
Travel up to 10%
Work from an office location
