About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and launch impactful, intuitive, and high-performance user-facing features directly influencing how users create their own music with AI.
• Take on complex technical hurdles around supporting paying users; audio generation and processing; and serving and advanced generative AI models.
• Make frequent, rapid contributions to bring ambitious new ideas to life, balancing the need for speed and iteration with the importance of building a robust and scalable foundation.
• Contribute to high-level technical decisions, influencing the future architecture of our Apps Framework platform, and potentially guiding significant platform strategy.
• Work with Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex visions into polished, delightful, and impactful user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience writing code in Kotlin or Java.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with API design.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience in Music Enhancement Audio algorithms, human perception of spatial sound, machine learning techniques or neural network implementation.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Qualifications

• Educational background including a Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
