Software Engineer, iOS

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex applications for iPhone, iPad, and other iOS-based products using Objective-C, Swift, or C++ with the iOS SDK.
• Design and implement maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Apply object-oriented software development principles to build scalable and efficient applications.
• Implement multithreading programming and manage mobile memory effectively.
• Collaborate with teams to develop mobile architecture patterns that can scale to a large number of programmers and teams in one codebase (e.g., MVVM, VIPER, modularization).
• Utilize client-server communication patterns such as REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
• Three years of work experience in a computer-related occupation or the offered job.
• Three years of experience in object-oriented software development.
• Experience building complex applications for iOS devices using Objective-C, Swift, or C++ with the iOS SDK.
• Experience in building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing.
• Knowledge of multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
• Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift.
• Experience with Linux or Unix environments.
• Understanding of algorithms.
• Experience with client-server communication patterns such as REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns that support large-scale development (e.g., MVVM, VIPER, modularization).
• Knowledge of dependency injection and scoped access to shared resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Three years of relevant work experience.
