About the Role

SAIC is seeking three (3) Software Developers to support the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division based in Aberdeen MD, with operations located at Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK. The role involves creating capabilities, providing technical services, and subject matter expertise in Mission Command, Fires, and C2 Maneuver systems. Successful candidates will support the Family of US Army's FIRES Systems including AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications
Assist in developing tools and interfaces
Assist in design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications
Assist in setting operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements
Assist in designing embedded systems software
Analyze user needs and develop and design software solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience for Junior Level; four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for degree
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience for Mid-Level; four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for degree
An Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a Secret Clearance is required to maintain employment
Experience in software development languages such as Java and Python
Experience in Agile Development
Understanding of XML and Unix
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications
