About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
• Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
• Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree, or technology experience/non-traditional certificates as a substitute.
• Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of insurance/financial services industry.

Qualifications

• Educational background in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or relevant technology experience or certificates.
