About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build large-scale infrastructure applications
• Create web applications using languages such as Python, PHP, or Ruby
• Implement web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Develop object-oriented software
• Build maintainable and testable code bases including API design and unit testing techniques
• Leverage frameworks such as React or React Native
• Develop full stack web and mobile applications in industry-standard languages like C, C++, Java, or C#
• Work with software development tools including code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
• Operate in Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems including file manipulation and simple commands
• Build highly-scalable performant solutions

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent)
• At least 1 year of experience in a related occupation or the offered role
• 12 months of experience coding in industry-standard languages such as C, C++, Java, or C#
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications
• Experience creating web applications with Python, PHP, or Ruby
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience implementing web interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
• Experience in full stack web/mobile application development
• Familiarity with frameworks like React or React Native
• Experience in design and code reviews
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing
• Proficiency with core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience building highly-scalable and performant solutions
