Key Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing embedded software solutions for Rotary Wing Sensors, supporting both USMC sensor upgrades and FMS deployments.
Developing applications including Sensor Control and algorithm implementations supporting Tracking, Boresight, and BIT.
Integrating the software with custom hardware.
Supporting upcoming milestone events by quickly learning the current architecture.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance; must be a US Citizen.
Experience with software configuration control processes and tools (gitlab, bitbucket, or equivalent).
Working familiarity with software development in Linux.
Strong C/C++ skills with experience in object-oriented development.

Nice to Have

Experience with design patterns for embedded development using a real time operating system (RTOS).
Familiarity with containerized development and deployment environments, Data distribution service (DDS), DevSecOps (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing).
Familiarity with Yocto OS development.

Qualifications

Experience with software development in Linux.
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
