Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions.
Work on distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability.
Implement core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Utilize software development tools like code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce).
Manipulate files and execute commands in Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a computer-related occupation or the offered role.
2 years of experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript).
Experience with C, C++, C#, or Java.
Experience with Python, PHP, or Haskell.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with software development tools such as code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce).
Experience working with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems including file manipulation and simple commands.
Understanding of building highly-scalable performant solutions.
Knowledge of distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability.
Strong understanding of algorithms.
