Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software systems related to Meta's social technology platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
Contribute to the development of immersive experiences in augmented and virtual reality.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in coding with industry-standard languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Javascript.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with software development tools including code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce).
Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems, including file manipulation and simple commands.
Understanding of algorithms.
