Key Responsibilities

Apply algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems
Build highly scalable performant solutions
Work on data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
Completion of a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, or C#
Experience with Python, PHP, or Haskell
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
Experience with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting
Understanding of core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
Experience in building highly scalable performant solutions
Knowledge in data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
Ability to recognize and match patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems
Experience with distributed systems
