Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Five years of experience coding in industry-standard languages such as C, C++, Java, or C#.
Experience building highly-scalable performant solutions.
Experience designing and completing medium to large features independently.
Experience owning a particular component, feature, or system.
Knowledge of software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce).
Proficiency with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands.
Familiarity with core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
Experience designing scalable distributed systems with established partition tolerance, consistency, and availability guarantees.
