Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of engineers to support the transformation of Photoshop's legacy UI with an updated framework, architecture, and a fresh look
Help evolve Adobe's shared UI technology for Photoshop and other flagship products' needs
Support efforts to identify and address architectural improvements in Photoshop's codebase
Build exceptional experiences for our customers and developers
Mentor aspiring technical leaders, setting high standards for architecture, code design, and process
Drive implementation from planning through development, quality reviews, integration, and deployment
Ensure the daily work of developers is prioritized, efficient, and aligned with evolving business goals
Handle project scope and risks with data, analytics, and creative problem solving
Work closely with teams and managers across Adobe, solving internal and cross-organization roadblocks

Requirements

5+ years as a software engineer
3+ years as an engineering manager
A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
A strong background in related hands-on software development and software architecture
Ability to sympathize with and understand developers, speaking from personal experience
Ability to thrive in a highly complex environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
A willingness to get in the trenches whenever needed
Knowledge and passion for Photoshop or other Adobe products

Nice to Have

Experience supporting UI transformation projects
Experience with architectural improvements in large codebases
Leadership experience in a creative or software development environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Competitive salary range of $132,700 -- $267,600 annually, varying by location and experience
Potential eligibility for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award
