About the Role

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $114,000 - $160,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an experienced Software Product Manager focused on Sustainability located remotely in the US. Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and development of our decarbonization software solutions for enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to develop and launch new product features and enhancements that drive customer adoption and success. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation in the decarbonization space. Engage with enterprise customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate those insights into actionable product requirements and development priorities. Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of our decarbonization software products and inform data-driven product decisions. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for our decarbonization software solutions. Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on decarbonization and sustainability, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and development of decarbonization software solutions for enterprise customers.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation.

  • Provide thought leadership and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management, preferably within the software or sustainability industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing self-serve products for enterprise customers, with a focus on customer adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of decarbonization strategies, technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaboration and customer engagement.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in defining and interpreting product success metrics.
  • Passion and experience in sustainability and decarbonization to support environmental impact goals.
  • Proficiency in developing core software solutions, including identity management systems, alerts and notifications mechanisms, and domain creation processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or environmental services sectors.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Professional certifications in product management, sustainability, or related fields.
