Key Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and intended use of requested data in the development of database requirements and support the planning and engineering of enterprise databases.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of database technologies, complex coding languages, and computer system skills.
  • Support the integration of data into readily available formats while maintaining existing structures and govern their use according to business requirements.
  • Analyze new data sources and monitor the performance, scalability, and security of data.
  • Create an initial analysis and deliver the user interface (UI) to the customer to enable further analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • 3+ years of current AWS experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Skills related to product development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages.
  • Experience in analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
  • Experience monitoring and managing operation systems (OS), and staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the OS.
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyze inputs, outputs, and processes.
  • Skilled in discovering patterns in large data sets with relevant software such as Oracle.
  • Experience with Data Mining or Informatica.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Skilled in graphical representation of information using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Skilled in AWS Compute services such as EC2, Lambda, Beanstalk, or ECS.
  • Skilled in AWS Management and Governance tools such as CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or Systems Manager.
  • Skilled in AWS Database products such as Neptune, RDS, Redshift, or Aurora.
  • Skilled in Oracle PL SQL, Python (object-oriented programming), JSON, Informatica, Oracle Database, SQL, AWS offerings, and related tools.
  • Experience using UNIX, Jenkins, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and MySQL Workbench.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS Analytics such as Athena, EMR, or Glue.

  • Bachelor's level degree.
