Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst | Hybrid, Kansas City

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to assigned business unit leadership with minimal oversight, helping them establish and follow a reporting roadmap
• Ensure the business unit leadership have the data and insight needed to successfully run their business
• Maintenance and delivery of reports, scorecards and dashboards within Optiv's Business Intelligence platform
• Management and processing of all ad-hoc requests from respective business unit(s)
• Provide business unit clear, innovative approaches to understanding and analyzing their data
• Perform continual quality assurance on all materials being presented to internal clients
• Prioritize and proactively anticipate the needs of stakeholders
• Work closely with peers in Business Intelligence, Finance & Strategy and IT to ensure alignment of data and reporting

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis and data visualization
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with Domo, Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence tool
• Experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite & Jira (at minimum, comparable systems)
• College degree, B.S. or higher in area of Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting or Business Administration or related analytical field
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL to interact with structured tables in a database
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal clients, including executive level leaders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as data presentation background
• Strong proficiency in fundamentals of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data models, formulas, custom calculations, lookups, and data validation
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage through ambiguity with limited supervision

Nice to Have

• Two (2)+ years experience working with Domo
• Graduate degree, M.B.A preferred
• Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise-level business intelligence solution
• Knowledge of the cyber security industry

• College degree, B.S. or higher in relevant analytical fields
