Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all copy projects for the Creative group as the team's copy-creation strategist.
  • Develop clear and compelling copy for various channels including websites, apps, advertising, promotions, giveaways, video scripts, social media, and product marketing campaigns.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions, conceptualize, and collaborate with Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Producers, Marketing leads, and Product team members on projects.
  • Prompt and edit all AI-generated copy used for templated, turnkey copy requests.
  • Manage external copywriter resources in partnership with Creative Directors at times.
  • Adhere to and evolve product Brand Guidelines, maintaining cohesive tone, voice, style, and messaging across all platforms.
  • Generate unique brand campaign concepts with Creative and Marketing teams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to receive feedback and adjust copy as needed.
  • Collaborate with data and Portfolio Marketing teams to evaluate performance metrics and optimize copy.
  • Stay aware of industry trends and new products that could improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare presentation slides and pitch concepts to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in English, Writing, Editing, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience.
  • Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Portfolio required to demonstrate creative skills; may be asked to take a writing test.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid 3-day schedule in Orlando, FL.
  • Excellent analytical, marketing, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a bias for action and a sense of urgency.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility for quality work.
  • Confident and professional virtual call presence.
  • Comfortable working in a group environment with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Takes initiative and is self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 times a year for team events and conferences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Project Management tools, namely Asana.
  • Interest in theatrical movie releases and the entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of sports—playing, following, or industry knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience.
