The role of Sr. Customer Development Analyst is based in Rogers, Arkansas, supporting Walmart, and involves partnering with retail teams to drive category growth through insights and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on strategic categories essential for the growth of the customer and Kenvue.
  • Drive sales growth by uncovering business opportunities via deep-dive analytics, discerning trends, and providing insights-based recommendations using data sources such as retailer data, syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI), marketplace, numerator, eCommerce data sources, and HH Panel Assessments.
  • Ensure data is accurately formed, reported, and error-free through careful review and refinement prior to analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Development Manager to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing, and track competitive marketplace activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer insights to craft go-to-market initiatives and understand the external marketplace.
  • Provide assortment recommendations by analyzing shopper, category, brand, and customer insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Support new product launches by developing fact-based category stories, including creating fact books, UPC codes, or artwork.
  • Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into the analysis of business results.
  • Lead strategic initiatives outside of day-to-day analytical support.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4-year degree.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in customer sales, merchandising, analytics, or in a consumer products environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, complex matrix and high-demand customer environment.
  • Ability to draw actionable insights from data that will drive growth.
  • Ability to summarize data and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to assess the marketplace and various consumer retail business models.
  • Strong digital literacy, including MS Office Suite, database sources, web applications, retailer data, and syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI).
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% and work out of Rogers, AR.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analyzing retailer data, syndicated data, and eCommerce data sources.
  • Experience in developing category stories and supporting new product launches.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4-year degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in customer sales, merchandising, or analytics.
