About the Role

The Sr Data Scientist - Cloud Growth at Ingram Micro Inc is a role focused on developing and expanding the science behind Ingram's cloud growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Develop and expand the science behind Ingram's cloud growth initiatives.
Build models, work with large granular data sets, and refine existing models to identify growth opportunities in the Cloud technology space.
Communicate analysis to key internal and external stakeholders.
Position as a Subject Matter Expert in relevant areas.
Mentor junior associates and manage a portfolio of data products.
Collaborate with a team of highly talented Ph.D.s, M.A.s, and industry experts to use advanced scientific techniques.
Design and execute field experiments to draw insights from market behavior.

Requirements

B.S. or Masters (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or related technical field.
5+ years of quantitative experience in industry, consulting, government, academics, or post-doc work.
Expertise in Machine Learning algorithms and supervised/unsupervised learning techniques.
Experience in developing propensity models at scale and applying optimization techniques.
Ability to work with large granular data sets, clean and pre-process data from varied sources.
Experience with tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, SQL, R, STATA, SAS, or MATLAB.
Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI) is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with partners.

Nice to Have

Experience developing AI Agents.
Experience with AI development tools.

Qualifications

Educational background as specified in requirements (B.S., Masters, or Ph.D.).

Competitive base pay range of USD $107,500 to $182,800 per year, depending on location and experience.
