Sr Developer - Full Stack

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the development process including complex design, integration, and maintenance while observing proper behaviors, patterns, and standards.
• Demonstrate leadership in mentoring and assisting team members.
• Actively participate in all disciplines required in a full-stack environment.
• Define and ensure the use of Stifel's best practices in all development projects and procedures.
• Work with the development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release, and maintenance of multiple products and systems.
• Perform advanced discovery and research into technical problems and map out improvements for web applications.
• Lead the development of procedures using test-driven development within continuous integration practices.
• Follow and help update coding and development standards.
• Document code to aid developers and support staff, simplifying complex concepts.
• Lead ad-hoc groups of developers across teams to accomplish challenging development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in software development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in C#/.NET (Core and Framework) or T-SQL on MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Angular, AngularJS.
• Advanced experience with source control systems like TFS and Git.
• Ability to demonstrate proactive architecture-driven problem resolution and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create and maintain processes to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience transforming mockups and wireframes into functional web applications.
• Ability to develop components based on UI/UX norms, including accessibility, navigation, and cross-browser performance.

Nice to Have

• Experience leading development teams or efforts across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years' experience in software development.
