About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize best practices in software engineering to architect, code, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to internal standards.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver features on time and within scope.
• Solve interesting technical challenges while helping to scale the product to meet growing demand for over 20,000 global customers.
• Participate in the team's on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues as they arise.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and performance of solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Use analytical skills to clarify questions, share approaches, and collaborate with the team to build and test elegant solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer working on customer-facing applications.
• Proficiency with at least one of the following programming languages and frameworks: JavaScript / NodeJS, TypeScript / React, Python, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience working with React.
• Experience designing, building, and operating large, enterprise-level systems with scalability, availability, and performance considerations.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying and operating services in AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) delivery methodologies.
• Experience working at a SaaS company with more than 1000 employees and $100M in revenue.
• Built or consumed GraphQL APIs using Apollo (server/client).
• Experience being on-call for services and familiarity with incident response and post-incident review best practices.
