Sr. Implementation Project Manager - Remote

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire client onboarding project for implementation, serving as the main contact for the client.
• Conduct client benefit discussions with all parties and ensure client sign-off for benefit intent forms.
• Coordinate efforts with internal departments for the creation of formulary, specialty products, and pharmacy networks.
• Coordinate formulary and specialty disruption analysis to impacted membership.
• Work with Operations and Functional leaders to proactively identify implementation issues and drive their resolution.
• Develop and present presentations for new business customer finalist presentations with Sales.
• Facilitate meetings at various levels of the organization, including management weekly reviews.
• Monitor, track, and report on implementation status and performance internally and to the client.
• Identify implementation risks, develop mitigation/action plans, and communicate with senior leadership.
• Manage the implementation of pharmacy benefit plans for all direct business market types.
• Ensure accuracy of plan updates and missed deliverables from all teams.
• Manage pre-implementation audits with the audit department and the client.
• Mentor other team members within Implementation.
• Travel approximately 20-25% for project needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management.
• 2+ years in a Client Facing role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience influencing externally with soft power, driving cross-functional collaboration, and negotiating win-win solutions.
• Ability to present to all levels of management and audiences.
• Active listening skills to ascertain client needs and work consultatively to achieve business objectives.
• Skills for navigating and driving results across operations, network, and clinical domains in a complex, matrix environment.

Nice to Have

• PMP Certification.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 2+ years of Implementation project management or Account Management experience.
• Experience managing complex projects with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
